Earlier today Psyonix announced that their highly successful multiplayer Sports-Action game Rocket League is now cross-platform compatible on Play Station 4.
If you’re on PS4 and want to test your skills against players on other devices you’ll have to make sure you have the cross-platform play option enabled (it is by default). Now all players on PS4, Nintento Switch, Xbox One, and Steam PC can randomly matchmake with and against each other in all match types (including Casual and Competitive).
In the same announcement Psyonix also revealed that they’ve been working on the cross-platform party system and that they’ll be releasing it in their first update this year. Psyonix promised to reveal more details about cross-platform parties soon.
