Earlier this week, Blizzard announced Hearthstone: In The Works updates.
To start things off, they revealed that they will be adding new ranks to ease new players into the game. Right now even getting past rank 25 can be tough sometimes, especially if you’re new to the game. So they’ve added 25 more ranks to the game. The game will now have 50 ranks and ranks 50 through 26 are reserved for new players only. If you reach rank 25, you’ll never drop below it again.
They will also be adding some new classic cards that you’ll be able to craft and get from cards packs in early November. This has a lot to do with the “helping new players get started with the game” part. They’ve designed the cards so that they’ll be relatively straight forward to use, but will have the capacity to create some exciting moments.
Blizzard also revealed that the In-Game Tournaments Update is officially on hold.
You can find out more about the reasons why the tournaments update was put on hold as well as other updates on the game’s official website.
