After a long time in Beta, Valve has finally decided to officially launch Dota 2.
Although the game has already been “released”, there’s a good chance that you can’t really access the game yet. That’s because Valve decided to give access to the game in waves. That decision was made to avoid server overloads and other similar problems that usually plague the newly released games.
If you or any of your friends want to give dota 2 a try, you can join the launch queue on the official website. After joining the queue, you will see your place in line, and when it is your turn you’ll receive an email letting you know you’re in.
